Uploaded two bits from my art-book. They're from last year, but I've had a hell of time trying to get a decent enough picture of them. And I've been lazy, no no, distracted. Yeah, that sounds better. In addition I slapped together a collection of my warm-ups from the past two weeks. Been challenging myself with life-type drawing. Which is very new to me, but it seems to be going well. Head on over to the gallery and see for yourself. If you're the mood to read however, these some more below.
With my warm-up I gave to links for sites I've been using during that process. The first I got from the all-knowing Matt Kohr over at ctrl+Paint, from his Costume Design video. He (and know myself) use a site called The Sartorialist. Not only is this great to get ready for drawing, but it has helped me with proportion and given me an understanding of how clothing actually covers a subject/character. In addition to this gem of a site I found another that's great for learning poses and more of that life-type drawing. POSEMANIACS offers male and female renders in various poses all of which can be rotated for different angles. This is also great because the renders are done in a musculature format, so you can see how the muscles allow the limbs to move. And it's all free! They do take donations, so if you like it send the good people some moneys for their hard work.
Here are those links:

That's all for now. More to come.
